June Kato's burgeoning career as LA's top neurosurgeon gets turned upside down when she finds a dead body in her garden.
Calling the cops brings accusations of murder and June ends up at the top of their suspect list. When a second victim is discovered too close to home, June is on the run--not from the culprit but to put an end to the madness before anyone else is slaughtered.
Will June become the next victim as she goes on a thrill ride through the streets of LA when she comes face to face with the murderer?
the murder-victim is also a bit... i don't know, i might not be flattered, if i had a date in a Japanese garden and should wear a kimono; but were they in long distance, with sexting or what...
and the detective, can really bother a suspect any time without telling them, i'll be there, you shall too, or consecvences? i mean i know, in shows like Lucifer it works like that, but in real life, i don't think so. If she were guilty until proved innocent, but it is the otherway around.
i would be freaked out, if a stranger "commited suiced" at my garden... i would be mad, why she had to come to me, not to a park, and if she really was commiting suiced and i am not framed... this June girl... she acts like a moron; if the first chapter wouldn't clear that a man was the murderer, i would think, she has at least 2 personalities, because being so sure, that a stranger loves Japan soooo much, that she must break into my home and commit suiced there, to feel japanese in her last moments, especially, when according to police, she was going to visit family... i mean... she is not a psychologist, but... with depression you just don't have energy to fly with plane... and if you do, you want to say good bye to your family, and not make them believe, you are visiting, but instead breaking into some japanese chick's home and commit suicide there...
In most of the AI narrators, i don't know who is speaking most of the times, i guess it is the author's nice writing, that in this case i know, and i am happy about that, Well i might rewrite this review, but it was bothering me and i had to went about it XD i listened to 2 hours and i still have 9 left XD
