A decade ago, I watched my love disappear into a blizzard, never to be heard from again.

Since then, I’ve guarded my solitude in my mountain mansion.
Until Maya appears at my door in the snow.

Her cherry blossom scent drives my kitsune wild.
Every touch of her skin against mine awakens a hunger I can barely contain.

Her warmth melts my defenses and I let her explore my home.

She unearths secrets that I’d missed in my heartbreak.
The revelations summon dark forces to my door.

As she witnesses my true form, I expect rejection even as the inferno she ignites in my soul burns hot.
Only wonder blazes in her eyes.

As passion tangles with destiny, I must choose:
Cling to the past I’ve waited a decade to claim or embrace the future with the woman who makes me believe in love again.

This book was great up until the last 25 minutes. Didn’t like how fast she forgave him. That was disappointing but over all was a good read.

Good read

No substance.. I mean I knew going in. this is a very short novelette/ novella.. but just like the Minotaur scholar, there's no substance. it's more like an outline for a bigger book. also, the kitsune Part can totally just be taken out and you'd still have a story. and I mean literally just take out the word.. so not really a monster romance, or really a romance of any kind..

meh
