The original historical romance by Atlanta Radio Theater Company member Fiona Karanina Leonard Brown features the company in full voice and resonant with wit and wisdom in their performance of the story of the coming-of-age of a wise-beyond-her-years Jane Austen-style heroine. Original music scores the twists and turns of a love story convoluted by class and uneven relationships between the sexes. At inception, Miss Cordelia Marsden is taken under the wing of her widowed Aunt Catherine and at conclusion, with pause for an attempted murder, there are not one, but two, very unexpected engagements.

The instrumental music was annoying. The characters were a little difficult to discern at times and the emotions the characters were supposed to be portraying wasn't there most of the time. The best done character was the evil duke. That is sad because I wanted to like the hero and heroine. This did entertain me for a while though.
