Kane:

It all changed when I saw her. She's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. What sets her apart from all the rest is her eyes. I've never seen violet eyes before. The other thing that sets her apart is that she is my teammate's little sister.

One night with her isn't enough. I need her in my life, and I'm willing to do whatever it takes.

Brooklyn:

He's an Adonis. He's everything I could have ever dreamt of. Except for the night I lost my virginity to him. I was the one who got scared and ran. He ran after me. And I'm glad he did.

But my brother, Nix, might be one more obstacle in our way.

Contains mature themes. Must be 18 years of age and older. And as always a HEA.

I enjoyed the book but felt the story line could have been stronger. Easy read but too fanciful and hard to believe at times. Especially saying twins when pregnancy just verified. Also poor choice of pull out method.

Good comedy

I loved the story between Kane and Brooklyn. It’s not your typical Hallmark pattern story. Brooklyn and Kane have spend one night together and he’s hooked. But she’s not. She knows what kind of player her brother’s teammates can be. Kane decides to work for the relationship. Just when you think the story is over and you’re ready for the hot and heavy steamy scene at the end of just about every romance out there... there’s a twist. It’s Pucking Unbelievable!

Doesn’t disappoint!

Alexander Cendese (a great job as always) is one of my favorite narrators and I enjoy hockey romances but this book drove me nuts. Brooklyn is so immature her guilt at doing something turns into her slut shaming a man that’s trying so hard to show her he cares about her... I almost didn’t finish it but I enjoy Alexander’s performance and he makes me laugh.

Sigh
