Pünktlich zum ersten Schnee bekommt der kleine Streuner ein warmes Zuhause und einen Namen. "Socke" gefällt ihm ganz wunderbar. Es passt zu seinen weißen Pfötchen. Er wohnt jetzt bei André und darf jeden Tag mit ihm zur Arbeit fahren und dort Eva sehen. Sie ist nun Sockes neues Frauchen. Warum sie allerdings nicht auch bei ihm und André einzieht, versteht Socke nicht ganz, aber das scheint so ein Menschending zu sein. Das will Socke unbedingt lösen - am besten noch vor Weihnachten.
