Fun stories-feels like I’ve moved into this little Canadian town and I am getting to know everyone. The number of murders may be impossible for one little town, but the characters feel real and the twists get me each time. I enjoy the narrator- she sounds exactly how I imagine Meagan, and frankly like many of my friends and family. The books are a good length - not so long that I have trouble finding the time to finish. Keep going Davis and Alvatrades! I anxiously anticipate your next audiobook.

Such fun! I’m in.

I bought books 1-3 and 4-6 at the same time. They are very well written with engaging and intelligent characters. However, the narrator made a lot of the characters sound like they were in a horror movie. I think a straight reading would have been better. It's sad that many listeners will turn off from this author based on the narrator.

Great stories, horrible narrator

So enjoying the humorous nature of the mixed up life relationships. It’s so much like life ups and downs.

I’m enjoying the day humor.

I call myself a cozy mystery lover reviewer and this has been my first Reagan Davis ebooks in this series. I really got hooked with books 4-6.

Overall, I really loved the story, the way it developed throughout the books, the characters, everything. The only thing I did not like were the male voices that sounded kind of fake. There were some moments I thought on getting the ebook to read it so I could enjoy the story.

Having said that, I really enjoyed the story and wasn't able to discover who'd done it! until I read it in the story.
I really recomend this books, you'll have a great time!

I’ve read up to book 6 and will be reading the rest of the series as soon as I finish this review. I’m enjoying the story lines, the personalities of the characters, the setting, but I have to admit that I’m pretty put off by the narrator. Megan’s voice is great, but most of the male characters including the main ones, Adam and Eric, are so low, slow, stilted, droning, and utterly lacking in personality, that I picture them as zombies lurching through the stories. The older ladies, specifically Connie, has a voice that calls to mind the image of the Wicked Witch of the West, and after hearing all the “Good morning my dearrrrrs,” and there’s a butt ton of those, I expect her next proclamation to be, “I’ll get you my pretty! And your little dog too!!!” Then there’s friend April’s voice…. A tall willowy woman isn’t going to have the high pitched breathy voice that sounds like a 6 year old voicing her Barbies. I would have spared myself all of the off putting voices and just read the books so I didn’t have the mental images of zombie men, witchy women, and adult Barbie voiced women to throw giant auditory wrenches into what is otherwise a very enjoyable series, but I prefer audible books so I can knit while I listen to the books. If I could think of another way to read and knit simultaneously, I’d be all over it.

Love the story line, but….
