Within months of saying "I do," she's pregnant, life is on track, and then wham! Her doctor slaps a high-risk label on her uterus and sends her to bed for five months.

As her husband's farmhouse begins to collapse and her marriage starts to do the same, Weintraub finally confronts her grief for her father while fighting for the survival of her unborn baby. Will she stay or will she once again run away from it all?

Knocked Down is an emotionally charged roller-coaster ride of survival and growth. It is a story about marriage, motherhood, and the risks we take.

Funny, light, entertaining

She is a good writer; makes a lot of funny points in the book. I liked her reflections on her father's life throughout. I have liked birth stories ever since I started reading them when I was first about to become a mom. This one is a true, rich story..

Witty, real, laugh-out loud funny

I loved this book! And particularly the way Aileen reads it. It took me a little while to get into it, but once I did I just could not wait to listen to more. I usually listen to audible books while driving - so I caught myself taking detours, just so I could listen to more! Aileen has a great sense of humor, can humbly laugh at herself, weave in some more serious parts elegantly, and even teach you a few pearls along the way about eternal bed rest, dealing with life in an old farmhouse, or how to keep your marriage alive when everything seems to go wrong. Now, I really want to read the 10 second seduction ;)
