I dislike 3rd act break-ups. As soon as the leader listens to his sister about a non-issue considering the other people in the running (at least she was genuine) I peaced out. I have no interest in all the unnecessary angst.

Okay!! 👀 AJ Shirley hooked me with this series. It started off with a bit of darkness and then bombarded me with all the sweet, spicy Omegaverse fluffiness. Like a sour candy that gives you a bit of harshness so that you can better appreciate the sweet 🥰

Serenity is an Omega who was sold off to a horrible Alpha to pay off her fathers’ debts. She escapes her captor, runs through the forest while malnourished (with no real clothes or shoes) in freezing temperatures… and is hit by a car. (Okay, that was the dark bit 😁) The car belongs to the Rhodes Pack, a wealthy, famous pack of Alpha bachelors, who just so happen to be looking for an Omega.

I absolutely adored this pack. They’re so different but balance each other perfectly. I loved that this is a multi-cultural pack and they love each other because of their differences and not in spite of them. I love how Serenity helps make the pack stronger and how the guys loved doting on her.

I listened to the audiobook and am so glad I did. Full disclosure, I bought the audio because I’m on a James Cassidy binge right now, but I’ve been introduced to four great, new-to-me narrators, soooo… justified! 😆 I’m already buying the rest of the series because the narrators stayed on, and they’re all so good together.

TLDR: Cozy, steamy why-choose Omegaverse with just the right tinge of darkness. Great cast of narrators.

With the characters being used should use as a duet not reading as the person

Being a duet would have been better instead of talking and reading and saying person you are being audio for. very disappointed

Started okay but never got better. Chapter 20 ruined everything. I was not expecting M/M. No thank you not for me. Had I known I never would have purchased the book.

Under developed. Insta love. Plot holes.
