Gary has never met a drag queen he didn't like.

But when one his colorful friends is found dead, fingers point his way. But Gary didn't kill him. He loved the old queen.

When his friend was in drag, he was as sassy as they come. But he also had a soft side. He came from money, lots of it. When his will is read and his family learns that he left it all to Gary, tempers flare. Threats are made. An ex-wife or two is thrown into the mix. And let's include a vengeful ex-companion of the male persuasion.

Rumors abound, and since Gary is the owner of a high-end salon, he hears all the gossip.

How did it all begin?

It was nearly a year ago. Gary and Gordy had talked about opening a side business to their bustling careers as cardiologists. Their first dream was a bed and breakfast, featuring Gary’s gourmet pancakes. That dreamed died when the house they purchased was teeming with termites.

Gordy thought Gary was crazy when he talked of opening a salon. “Do you know anything at all about cutting and styling hair?”

“Of course I do. Well, I’ve watched. Okay, I grew up around it. Plus, I do know what looks good on me,” he said as he ran his hand through his short, styled locks. “And I love a good hair product. With my own salon, I can get anything I want… wholesale!”
