Delightful audio for my old favorite

Kon-Tiki was one of my early paperback book purchases about 60 years ago and read it several times before high school graduation, so I am pleased to report that this audio version is simply delightful. Peter Kenny really conveyed me to the jungle adventure and the raft adventure across the Pacific Ocean. I hope that middle school and older readers will find Mr. Heyerdahl's book 1940's theory of ancient migrations entertaining for adventure, science, archaeology, geography, and more. I am pleased there has been an epilogue added for this version that includes more about the work regarding Easter Island. An excellent treasure!

Excellent read

History in the making. The message that if you put your mind to it, you can do it. The movie was not true to the voyage with made-up crises and personal conflicts.
