When a notorious Dublin solicitor, controversial journalist and influential social media figure are all murdered in quick succession, Reilly Steel and her GFU team are on the case to figure out who has been targeting these men and why.

Though as she tries to put the pieces together, she can’t help feeling that recent events in her personal life has left her famed ‘Steel’ edge somewhat blunted.
And her precarious relationship with Chris hanging in the balance.

As the bigger picture concerning these particular victims emerges, and their collective past gradually comes to light, the investigative team begins to question if the dead men’s suffering might well be a direct consequence of their own actions.

While Reilly, struggling to find equilibrium in more ways than one, wonders if the same could be said for hers …

Very good plot, a lot of great characters, overall great story ; but the AI voice killed for me, very robotic no emotion

Good story

Story was a bit disjointed. Enjoyable but I felt it didn’t just “flow”. I found the ending… he big reveal was a rush to just say it was over and the book was complete. Individually the characters were decent but I found their inter play strained

Disappointed
