LETTERS TO YOUR TEEN

Teens and parents. Fire and water. You will never agree about everything. You might only agree about what kind of pizza to order. You will argue. But sometimes, when the arguing gets out of hand, you are not being listened to, just fought against. You can say what you think they want to hear, and they will change their minds about what they want to hear. Sometimes, sitting down to write a letter to let your teen know just what you are thinking and how you are feeling, might break through the wall they have put up. They might not read it right away, and they might rip it up, but if you have at least made the effort, there is always a chance....They may ignore your talking, but with a written letter, you may stand a chance.
