Great Mystery, Lighthearted Fun

Enjoyed the historical setting and loved the main character. Terrific plot kept me guessing who the murderer was and thats not easy! Fun characters, great cozy

loved the narrator. loved the way the author strings the clues together. she makes following the mystery fun and I can't wait for the next book in the series!

Clever and Compelling

I am a huge fan of this author and I’m excited about this new series. Lady Darling is a unique older heroin e who is witty, spry and caring. I adored her friendships, allies and grown children and hope they show up in future books, particularly Jane. The plot was unique and compelling. Can’t wait to learn more about The Wall of Man as well. This new series did not disappoint!

Narrator is good

The narrator is good. If a virtual voice used, I would not have brought the audio. Main character is over confident at times especially for the time period. But a decent story to listen on long road trip.
