Surprising ending

Excellent story with surprising ending. Lady Violet is such a great character who everyone can love.

It wrecked me

I ugly cried through the whole last chapter. It’s exhausting, but that’s one way to judge a good book. Burrows had truly made me care about the characters if certain events wrecked me. And I still have hopes and regrets about those characters. Speaking of which we see a bit more into the brothers in this volume, and I mostly like what I see. I still love how Burrows includes animals and children in her stories offering a different sort of romance. An old mare and a marmalade cat feature prominently in this book, but that’s not all. Lady Violet needs a dog.

Loved it!

This is my favorite Lady Violet so far. I can’t wait until I can download the next book.

Love all of Grace Burrows novels and will seek out anything read by this narrator!!!!! She wonderful!
