Rhodes Quinn is only months away from taking over Quinn Valley Ranch, and he doesn't have time to deal with water leaking into the basement at the homestead. But since it's his future home, he hires a landscape architect to get things right with the yard.

Capri Haywood has made the thousand-mile journey from Texas to Quinn Valley to start over after a disastrous break-up and career-ending events at her last job. She has the landscape architecture degree, but she's never used it. As she settles into the cabin right next door to Rhodes, she has plenty to learn about native Idaho plants, her handsome cowboy boss, and herself.

As things heat up between Rhodes and Capri during the slow, summer nights on the ranch, Capri will have to show Rhodes she's capable of completing the yard at the homestead. He'll have to find a way through the stress of taking over the ranch. And they'll both have to learn to trust that the Lord is guiding them, even when everything seems to go wrong...
