She’s the worst person for me. And I can’t get enough of her.
Life nearly broke me a year ago. My father died. My brother killed my girlfriend. And my club almost fell apart. By the skin of our teeth, I’m hanging on. But I know I will never meet anyone like my last woman. Her beauty, her smile, her joy… it will never return. And then her best friend showed up. I have every reason to hate her. She works for the DA. She wants me arrested. But the fire in her eyes… the spark in her soul… the flame in her heart… I can’t get enough of it. And I’m going to have it. I don’t care what the consequences are. I’ve got a second chance at love. I’m not going to let it die again. "Lane" is the first novel in Season 1 of the Black Reapers MC and is intended for mature audiences only.

I didn't hate this story but at the same time I did not love it. Lane and Angela are grief ridden they can't see anything other than their grief. Angela comes in wanting justice for her best friend. They do not like each other and boom, they fall for one another. I didn't feel the connection at all. Other than all that, it was an interesting story.

the story itself is good. however, the author used Ai to narrate the story. there is no proper inflection, change in tone, excitement, in other words, no emotions. this makes the reading very boring. Ai also misses punctuation mak I no it hard to follow.

why ai??
