It was great to get a peek at the motivations and history of characters that we never get the chance to explore in the main series l.

This is a nice addition to main series. We get to see what's going on from an outsider's perspective and how Siobhan affects the people she doesn't even know. Also, Percy is a great character for a novel of this type.
