Start At The Beginning

Having read all the entries to date, I have to say that Last Alive was when this British cop series went from good to awesome. That said, even though this can be treated as a standalone adventure you will enjoy this entry so much more if you get acquainted with the characters of Last Alive through their earlier appearances. Great to revisit this story as an audiobook, the acting and sound effects are fantastic.

Drama, Suspense, Tension, SURPRISES

Fantastic audiobook production of an exceptional piece of writing. Big fan of the sound effects, the bludgeoning, stabbing, breaking bones, tearing flesh and the screaming and grunting that went along with it, you can really feel it all as you listen.

Well Worth A Listen

Two thumbs up for this amazing story which will keep your attention till the end. Awesome!

A well crafted thriller

Mark’s third Edmonton thriller brings back a number of characters from Spider Mouth and Murderson, including the wonderfully abrasive and sarcastic Webb, and introduces my favourite character to date; bargain hunter and ex-police officer Terrence Marsland. Poor narration and story

A big mistake!! Returned after listening for only 30 minutes. Narration was horrible. Narrator sounded like he was reading an elementary school book - little inflection and annoying long pauses between phrases. Could not engage in the story due to the irritating narration. Avoid this book!!
