The narrator really brought this book to life, but I am not sure I'd have enjoyed this as much otherwise. Although I found Julian's behaviour annoying, I didn't really feel that invested in Brooke's wellbeing as I found her a little 1-dimensional and bland. I kept going because of the secondary characters and the narration and it did get better as the story went on and I absolutely loved the ending so all in all a good read.

The plot was easy to listen chick-lit, perhaps a bit unpredictable ending the "best friend" was sometimes even more interesting character than Brooke, but I just loved the narrator. She put so much life into the text, good job!
