A resurrected saint operating as a man hunter in a shadow government organization known as The Hand. While hunting down his latest bounty, he uncovers a darker cosmic threat and forms an alliance with demons and angels in an attempt to save the world.

Laszlo the Gargoyle, engineered by the Vatican through a top-secret breeding program, possesses a rare combination of dragon and human traits. Along the way, he is armed with a powerful weapon, the holy Dexter, a mummified hand of Saint Stephen of Hungary, and a mysterious demon bag that holds untold secrets. His journey takes him on a cross-country trip through the United States aboard ghost trains, adding haunting and supernatural events that compound his mission.

Laszlo must utilize his unique skills and centuries of experience to unravel the secrets he encounters while traveling with his two companions, Laura the Suicide and John the Demon.
