Dad Jokes and Knock Knocks Abound

I laughed. I groaned. I sighed and rolled my eyes. This was a pleasant collection of short simple jokes and with ‘dad joke’ written all over it. They are all clean and safe for children, though many are puns and usages of words that were a little too advanced for my young toddler. However, she enjoyed it very much as well due to the great narration and audio adds from Mr. DeBiase. His additions added to the comedy and helped my young one to enjoy it even if she didn’t understand the jokes.

Therefore, if your car includes children with varying ages this book still works great. The older ones will get the jokes and the younger ones will be entertained with the funny sounds and narration.

My only suggestion would be that the book be split into sections. There are a great many knock-knock jokes, dinosaur jokes, and kid asked jokes. It would be great to have them separated and divided by chapters as I can envision that older children will ask for specific jokes (“Mom, can we listen to the dinosaur jokes again?”) and it will be very difficult to find anything specific.

Funny but some are over my 8 year olds head. He just doesn't get half of them. He will in a year or two.

I use this book when I call my 7 year old grandson in California I live in New York. He always looks forward to hearing the jokes and most of them he gets.
