Molly Reardon has never made it a secret to anyone including her oldest son that she’d like nothing better than for him to find the perfect someone and settle down. Case Reardon is silently grateful that his mother’s unexpected purchase of the large residential complex he’s lived at for several years has kept her busy and not nearly as focused on her original purpose for buying it. But he also knows that it’s a temporary reprieve and won’t last forever. Then his sister arrives for a visit.

Molly is thrilled with the arrival of her youngest daughter. But she quickly realizes that there’s more behind her daughter’s visit than she’s admitting. Concerned, she talks Katie into staying with her instead of her brother during her stay. She might not know what’s bothering her daughter but she’s determined to fix it.

Before long Katie finds herself drawn into the excitement of her mother’s current pet project for her newest investment. And in the process she meets several residents of the large complex who have also been drawn into her mother’s enthusiastic plans for the large and sprawling residential complex they all call home.
