This audible book is a complete rip off all it does is play relaxing sounds and the moron who wrote only mention one french word in the entire thing and that word was French you will learn nothing from this audible book you'll learn more French in intro to Spanish than this pile of crap.

Misleading and disappointing

I bought this as a way to listen to French as I slept. Big mistake! I could get the content of this for free on you tube!

I don't know what could make it be a 4 or 5 star. Maybe actually being something that I play while I sleep?

It kept me awake!

I go to sleep quickly so I thought this would be great. The first two chapters he kept waking me up trying to tell me to relax and not sleep.

What disappointed you about Learn French?

I wish I have read the reviews. It was a relaxation music and talking NO FRENCH INVOLVED!
I thought this was going to be a great idea to spark some of my old school french BUT no its nothing to do with FRENCH. Wrongly advertised.
I started to think maybe there was French in the background but no I listened very closely and there's not.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Annoying, voice was too loud.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

It was a good relaxation session until the waterfalls and running water in the middle. Waterfall only mean a toilet stop so now you're awake. Then there was the heart beat which was far to fast for my heart so it woke me even more.

DON'T BUY IF YOU WANT TO LEARN FRENCH!

SCAM - Audible should not carry this

Very disappointing. NOT what was advertised. Audible should not carry this kind of product. If you want to learn French chose one of their other Innovative Language Learning series, which ACTUALLY will help you learn. This product is misleading and a waste of money and time!
