This book aims to help you understand the basics of Spanish, focusing on the things that would be the most important for any traveler to know when going to a Spanish-speaking country.

Each chapter of this book will introduce you to new concepts in Spanish, including the days of the week, numbers, and phrases that can be helpful to travelers. This audiobook is intended to be an interactive one. At the end of each chapter, a review will be followed by two quizzes. We will pause and give the listener time to give verbal or mental answers during the quizzes. We encourage all our listeners to take advantage of the quizzes and use them to test how well you know the words. If there is a quiz that is more difficult, retake it or listen to the chapter again. Some of these chapters build on top of each other, so the book will become more challenging if each chapter is not understood.

The purpose of this book is not to teach each of its listeners to be fluent in Spanish. Instead, the objective is to equip all travelers with the necessary tools to understand the basics of Spanish and travel freely without fear of miscommunication. We hope each traveler will not have any regrets throughout their trip, especially in preparation.

A GREAT BOOK TO LEARN SPANISH EASILY!

This book is intended to aid you when you travel to various Spanish-speaking nations, but I believe it offers much more than that. This book begins by demonstrating how to pronounce the essential vocabulary terms and includes quizzes so you may gauge your progress. The fundamental message of this book is to not be scared to try; practise really does make perfect. It is something that you can utilise repeatedly.

Perfect for beginners like me

The perfect reason to get this audiobook is because languages are so conversational and you cannot separate learning a language from hearing the words spoken by yourself and others. The book provides a pronunciation guide right off the bat which is amazing and catches you before you get too far in. I enjoyed the way the book focuses on basic words, sentences and things you’ll use most of the time. There is even a quiz at the end to help you find out the spots you need to improve upon. I highly recommend this book.

A must-have for travelers

Even though I had very little knowledge and exposure to Spanish, I decided to get ready for my visit to Mexico. This audiobook was easy to listen and to understand. I liked how the book focuses on the information important to travelers, and also, how it is laid out. The quizzes definitely help to retain the learned information much better, than by just listening. I'm positive that I can now pick up Spanish and communicate with more confidence as soon as I start practicing it - and practicing, of course, is the key.

Great for beginners!

Went on a trip to Spain and didn’t know much Spanish at all. I got this audiobook to help me when I was vacationing and wow it really made a big difference!

I was able to say basics things, order meals, ask directions, all the stuff you need. Totally recommend!

Spanish instruction audiobook effective

Can you learn to speak Spanish well enough from an audiobook that you might soon travel by car around in Mexico, say, with ease? The subtitle basically implies you can. I was skeptical at first but I believe this audiobook is comprehensive enough to enable a person to do just that!

I base that in part on the book's admonition that you should not be shy about immediately using a language translator app whenever you hear a Spanish word that is unfamiliar to you.

Meanwhile, of course, you will need to practice the words and phrases presented in this book, and learn to conjugate the verbs, and learn all about how to greet people and ask directions, as described in this very good audiobook.
