Legacy is an interstellar universe populated by extra-terrestrials who greatly resemble creatures from Earth mythology and folklore, such as Dragons and Fairies. Apparently, some of these aliens visited our planet in the past and inspired many of our old legends. When human beings gained the ability to travel through space, the existence of these aliens became an accepted fact of life. Around the same time, many humans developed magical powers much like their alien counterparts. These humans became known as Elementals and they took it upon themselves to protect humanity, acting as mediators between mankind and the many alien races that populate the universe.

Our story focuses on Ryan Uruks, a wise-cracking part human, part Dragon hybrid whose family is murdered in a vicious attack by a demonic entity leading a band of savage Dragons with dark scales. After surviving the onslaught, he begins his studies at the Ministry of Fire, the most powerful of the Twelve Elemental Ministries. Ryan seeks the power and influence of an Elemental in order to discover the identity of the villain who murdered his family and avenge their deaths. Along his journey, he'll meet other young Elementals as well as nonhuman allies who will help him grow and mature in his understanding of Elemency and the universe itself.
