Great characters with interesting strategy

I really enjoyed Eska, Sasha, and Albus. Their stories were interesting, fun, and full of cool mystery.

Menon is a great character, but harder to enjoy. I struggle with that type of person I think. Luca and her relationship is quite interesting.

I look forward to the next one!

Excellent Series

Love it! Especially with one of my favorite narrators,
Can't wait for the next book in the series.

Fantasy. Adult female lead. NOT SMUT/"ROMANTASY"!

it's annoyingly difficult to read fantasy with female leads these days without having to sift through droves of hastily written, obnoxiously repetitive, mass produced sludge. I totally get that people are into it and I don't judge them for it at all, but I have to express my gratitude for authors who still make what I enjoy reading despite the trends.
Kate Reading is a phenomenal narrator as always. I find myself just looking for titles she's narrated as they often seem to be well written epic fantasy with female leads.
I'm devastated that there isn't even an anticipated release date for the third book and truly hope my ADD mind will remember this series and notice when there's a third one.

Only the narration is good

The narrator, Kate wedding, is one of my favorites. However, the story dread on apparently is still dragging on.

Kate Reading is my favorite, anything she reads is gold.

Such a great story line! This book is addictive, you never know what will happen next.
