Virtual voice narrators just don't cut it for stories like this

The virtual voice is a terrible narrator: no emotions matching with the story, everyday words pronounced wrong, and no change in voices for different characters. The author wrote this like he was in a hurry and couldn't be bothered with enough details to paint the picture. Couldn't finish it. Disappointed because the description seem to have a promising plot to it.
