In the sun-drenched Caribbean of the early 1900s, where the line between order and chaos blurs like the horizon, Leonardo Bravo treads carefully. He knows trouble is always one step behind. When his friend, Paco Seda, takes a bullet in a crowded bar and witnesses vanish, Bravo is thrust into a deadly game.

As Paco fights for his life, men from the shadows of Bravo’s past resurface, demanding his allegiance to a dangerous plan. Refusal is not an option, not when the shadows have teeth and the past has a way of catching up.

With bodies piling up, Bravo realizes that the killer who targeted Paco is hunting him too, and as the specter of death looms larger, he finds himself trapped between a violent gang and a relentless assassin.
