2nd edition publication of the sold-out book describing the amazing, creative success and accomplishments that came out of Christ Church in Nashville, Tennessee starting in early 1990 with an outpouring from God, and leading hundreds of people to have divine courage to birth new ministries, business and churches still impacting millions of lives today.
In the spring of 1990, the members of Christ Church in Nashville experienced an outpouring of creativity that has impacted some untold millions of people over the last 20 years. Using notes from his Sunday school class “Career Compass 101,” Dan Miller began coaching church members and others in the community questioning their calling and eventually wrote the book, "48 Days to the Work You Love" and launched events and mastermind along with the 48 Days Eagles community. Dave Ramsey took his Sunday school class “Life After Debt” and eventually launched Financial Peace University, and Mike Hardwick founded Churchill Mortgage Company. Nancy Alcorn also grew her concept of Mercy Ministries, reaching out to young women all over the world.
L.H. Hardwick, Christ Church’s pastor during that season, said, “We just preached, taught, networked and inspired our lay leaders. In turn, our people created, organized and fueled their dreams.” “There are great resources in this church if only they would let that river run…” In the mid nineteen eighties, the Holy Spirit visited Christ Church Nashville in a way that few of us would fully understand for years to come. During that visitation, hundreds of lives were radically changed. The people who experienced that season of personal transformation, received divine courage to birth new ministries, business and churches that have impacted our nation and the world. This book is not only the story about how all that happened, but about how it can happen again.
