James Bond goes Supernatural

Yes, plopping an untrained werewolf Devereaux into a MI6 spy mission in another country without backup makes no sense. But, it did make for an excellent thriller that both channels Bond movies and cracks jokes at their expense. The banter and chemistry between Devereaux and Scarlet continues to be one of the more fun things about this spinoff. There were some great new characters from the Rome location that I can only hope will find their way into this series again.

Whereas I found the original Firebrand series a little too teenage Twilight, I’m liking this one better.
It’s still on the YA side, but these MCs have a lot more personality and interesting backgrounds.

I love this book so much! The narrator was excellent. Helen Harper is an amazing author!

Better than book 1

Nice story, good characters & narration, I especially liked the ending. Looking forward to book 3.
