However through professional help, the support of her loving family, and her Christian faith, she somehow found the hope and strength to overcome.

Life Hurts tells Lizzie's story, reflecting on it from her perspective as a doctor. Her vision is to inspire and encourage other to see that, although eating disorders can be devastating, there is hope for all of us.

Excellent read

This is an inspirational story that is an "easy" read. It's reaffirming to both those struggling with anorexia and their family as to how difficult the struggle with this disorder can be.

Truly enjoyed listening! As someone who has been through some of the same struggles, and still does today, I appreciate her honesty. She brings truth and freedom to others with her raw and real depiction of what life with anorexia or any eating disorder looks like.
