Lost a star for excessive use of “hither and thither”

Derek Perkins is brilliant! I love his work and how he clearly delineated each characters voice and vocal mannerisms. The story was also quite enjoyable. It had some slow parts but all stories do. Biggest drawback for me was as noted in the title. It might work well in written form, but spoken word it just yanked me out of the moment every time. Otherwise I really enjoyed it. I greatly liked the religious depths that were looked at.

Vary sad but no regrets reading

Honestly one of the best series I've come across. Now off to fill the void with another series!
