A promise.

A shipboard romance.

One transposed number threatens to sink love before it gets started.

With the age of 28 looming ahead and Tatum Jackson still unmarried, she made a vow to enjoy her birthday on a cruise ship bound for Hawaii. She runs into, literally, a handsome man and enjoys a romance movies were made of.

When the cruise ends, she agrees to continue the relationship with Eric Carlson via letters. Then one simple mistake leads Tatum to think it all a lie.

Will fate intervene once again and save these two hearts?

The writing in this book is superb; paired up with such wonderful narration made for an incredibly immersive listen. I absolutely loved this story, it was beautifully written and S. Johnson was awesome in her narration as well as always.

This was a short and sweet romance that I enjoyed. I liked the story. I think both characters had room to grow and learn. I liked that they were both not really looking for love when they found each other. It felt like happenstance. There was a misunderstanding that could of been easily fixed if either character had gotten over themselves and "grew up". One thing I found hard to believe is that Eric couldn't of figured out that his numbers where probably on the cloud storage of his phone...so he could of reached out to Tatum. Other than that the story was believable and the characters were loveable. I was rooting for them. I would of loved for this novella to be a longer novel but it was good even though it was short. I am sure others would enjoy it as well.

Enjoyable

Tatum and Eric meet on a cruise ship. A friendship begins but neither can express how they feel. This is a lovely story about 2 people who find love in an unexpected place. I enjoyed listening to it. I thought the narrator did a good job.

This was a well written story and characters are well developed. If Cynthia Hickey wrote more books and they are narrated like this one I would like to listen to them as well, the narrator S, Johnson knows how to narrate an audiobook nicely.

Nice one

after beginning the book, the voice of the narrator got on my nerves. she could not pull of the male voice. I ended up going to the last chapter after listening to 4. it appeared to be a good story but I couldn't continue listening
