Great introduction to timeless classics

Title says it all. If you're Catholic (and even if you aren't) you SHOULD know these works.

Should be volume one

This book seems like it should be the first of a series of books. Mr. Pierce really only gives a high level survey, that leaves the reader longing for a deeper dive and analysis into each of the great books he mentions. I hope for volumes 2-ff.
