Hiding her personal connection to the victim - and a double-life which must remain secret at all costs - Helen becomes a woman possessed, working her team around the clock to chase down every lead.

As the killer strikes again, the investigation takes its toll not only on Helen but also her senior officers. Tempers flare, friendships fray and Helen faces an impossible choice.

Confess her sins and lose control of the case? Or keep living a lie, protecting her darkest secrets, and risk getting trapped in this tangled web?

But whatever she does, this killer will not stop until the truth is revealed: there are some fates worse than death . . .

I enjoyed the book, but was so disappointed in the ending. I'm not a fan of cliffhangers, I did a little digging and "Hide & Seek" will be released September 8, 2016 in the UK, so hopefully it'll be available in the US shortly afterwards. You may want to wait till then and read them in quick succession.
Onto the book, I continue to enjoy Helen Grace, but am tiring of Anita G. She's become predictable and uninteresting.
I don't want to spoil the story, but found the villain to be both predictable and not believable. With that being said, I will purchase the next one.

Warning! It's a cliffhanger!

Great book! Wonderful reading. Killer ending! Another great book. This one takes Aldridge onto another playing field. I didn't see any of this coming. Seriously fantastic book!

Wow...what a wonderful first audio book!

The PLOT!

I really like the DI Helen Grace series. This book continues the intelligent police procedurals. I'm trying to read these in order of publication, though each stands alone just fine. The early books are my preferred reading with subjects about which I know nothing and the characters are introduced and fleshed out. This book gets really, really long and tedious with every cop needing nice long vacations but, darn, there are too many murders.
