As per usual, Nick delivers a wonderful reading of his engaging, thoughtful, informative writing. Even in a book like this one he manages to expertly weave wisdom, philosophy, and useful practical knowledge in between his laugh-out-loud, dry, brilliant humor. The projects included are also really great, simple, straightforward, practical, and useful.

Great Book

I enjoy all of Nick Offerman’s books the skills introduced in the book are interesting and inspire me to build something with my hands.

Please- enough of the agenda already

I am always loved and appreciated the work of Nick Offerman. always considered him a kindred spirit and respected his opinion even when we disagreed. The problem I have had lately is that while I consider myself to be very middle of the road and not taking sides in politics (because neither side is perfect or 100% correct on most topics) I still find that we are constantly being round in a sea of political agenda. I can't listen to a very short book by someone that I have respect and appreciation for without immediately being hit with political ideology. I would be happy to have a one-on-one with someone about their particular beliefs if I had time, but I'm not listening to a book by Nick Offerman on woodworking to be bombarded by politics. it immediately started to turn me off and I don't really want to continue listening unfortunately. it is the same way I wouldn't want to listen to a book by someone that started inserting right wing agenda into a book. I'm not interested. thank you for continuing to put out content, but this time it's not for me.
