Claire is a widowed single mother who just moved to Alabama from the Big Apple. Having stepped out on faith and the ultimatum that her job gave her, the grieving woman is on a quest for a better life for herself and her teenage daughter, Jonna. But… her life is suddenly flipped upside down when Jonna disappears into thin air, and she’s left wondering: WHO, WHAT, WHERE, and WHY?

Ultimately, Claire is plagued by the grueling search for her baby girl all while still coming to terms with the loss of her husband. Her biggest fear is losing the only person she has left.

All I can say is “What?!” Rushed. This is the 1st I beg that the author added more fluff.

Good read

This was a good short story. I wish I had more. It was kind of bitter sweet. This was my first read by JD BLACK.
