Log of Poverty in the Eye

The title is rather a provoking one and will raise objections from some people. Nevertheless the Lord gave me this title when I was battling against poverty. I was trying my best to help others out of poverty, sharing the little investment knowledge I know about shares, unit trusts, 32 days’ notice investments, Government Bonds and stockvel . I say little knowledge because I’m not an expert in the field and have a lot to learn. It does not give an excuse to hoarding but encourages givers to give wisely. Most of us were not taught financial skills as children, when we got a coin we thought of buying rather than keeping it. Sadly some of our Christian children do not know the principles of giving to church.
