Over at Slough House, the MI5 satellite office for outcast and demoted spies, the agents are struggling with personal problems: repressed grief, various addictions, retail paralysis, and the nagging suspicion that their newest colleague is a psychopath. Plus someone is trying to kill Roddy Ho. But collectively, they're about to rediscover their greatest strength- the ability to make a bad situation much, much worse.

Best one yet!

Fans of Jackson Lamb and his band of MI-5 f***-ups will laugh out loud, but the book also has a poignancy and an unwavering respect for its flawed characters. I want to reread the whole series from the beginning.

Say it’s not so. There must be more in the series, please.

When will Mr. Herron publish again? The Slough Horses’ redemption efforts must continue propelled along by Justin Lamb’s ripostes!

Roddy Ho and Jackson Lamb take center stage. As two of my favorite characters, this was easy to fall in love with.
