What if your curse was your calling?

In a realm where the left hand marks a man as cursed, Arlen Wyth has spent his life fighting for acceptance. Scorned by his own people and burdened by a faith he struggles to understand, he seeks only to prove he's more than the affliction of his birth. But when a forbidden journey reveals a terrifying truth—the Saxone war clans are preparing to invade—Arlen finds himself caught between the suspicion of his countrymen and the destruction racing toward their shores. No one will believe the warning of a cursed young man. No one, that is, except those who would use him for their own designs.

Thrust into a deadly game of espionage and faith, Arlen must navigate treacherous waters both literal and political. From the mist-shrouded coasts of Eifion to the iron halls of Eadburga, he uncovers a web of betrayal that runs deeper than foreign invasion. Ancient grudges, political machinations, and spiritual warfare converge as Arlen races to save not only his homeland but the woman he loves—a captive in the heart of enemy territory. Every step forward demands a choice: rely on his own cunning or surrender to a divine plan he cannot see.

This is a journey where steel alone cannot win the day. As armies gather and darkness closes in, Arlen must learn that true strength lies not in the hand that wields the sword, but in the heart that trusts the Almighty. In a world where destiny is written in the stars and faith is tested by fire, one young man's quest for redemption will determine the fate of kingdoms.

Love the picture of how things can seem to be so rotten, but if having the upright attitude it can affect so many people in a positive way.
It is a mindset!
But such a fun story! Many plots and characters throughout it. It kept my attention and can’t wait for the nest book!
Thanks Carter

I’ve read the paper book, but listening was like the book coming alive. The narrator is wonderful and shows distinguished characters in his voice changes. He is easy to understand and it helps to have the pronunciation of some of the names.
It is uplifting, encouraging, mysterious, and thrilling all at the same time; while pointing our hearts toward Christ’s redemption. Even in the middle of dangerous courage and loss, there is a thread of love and suspense that draws you in. It is a wonderful story and I’m looking forward to the sequel!

Exciting adventure comes to life

Excellent Christian values, good story, and characters you’ll love. I admit it took me a few chapters to get into the story, but once I did, I couldn’t put it down.
I love how well the struggles of the Christian faith is shown and how hard it can be for a lost person to understand sometimes.
The descriptions are also very well done, easy to picture the world and characters within.
Looking forward to book 2!! Keep up the good work!

Loved the guys voice- the accent is cool and I like that it’s not too over-the-top but still good acting! The story is captivating. Lots of Christian vibes and a salvation experience but still a good adventure story.

Great Christian adventure! LOVE the narrator/voice.
