Diana Gabaldon, the number-one New York Times best-selling author of the Outlander saga and a Quill Award winner, delivers a treat for her many fans - a collection of three novellas starring the ever-popular Lord John Grey.

In these tales, Lord John vows to avenge a murder, investigates a terrifying "night-hag" on the battlefields of Europe, and discovers treason in His Majesty's ranks.

I couldn't leave the world of Outlander. This little book kept me involved for a couple more nights.

Short stories are not my cup of tea. Still, the three stories included kept my interest until the end.

Jeff Woodman, the narrator, held his own covering the characters and most especially our Lord John.

Diana Gabaldon's wonderful writing and wit show throughout this book. And it did keep me in the Outlander world, sans time travel.

It is worth the read.

Overall, the stories are pretty good. They just don’t read like the Outlander books do🤔... almost as if Diana Gabaldon didn’t write it, or maybe she was just trying a different style of write🤷‍♀️

It’s pretty good!

The editor of the audio recording should be fired. There were a lot of instances where the reader repeated himself and those portions should have been deleted during editing. It was common enough to become annoying. It's almost as if no one ever listened to this after recording. The performance by the reader himself was fine. I blame the editor.

Love the story, but the editing of the audio...
