LOST LADY OF LARAMIE

This is one of the best books I've listened to in a long time. I loved the storyline. I dont want to spoil it. So I wont tell the main things. But Fanny is married to Caption Kelly. He's a greedy arrogant person who only cares about being promoted. He is escorting a wagon to the fort. He has some army men and scouts with him. One of the scouts (Matt) tries to tell him not to go a certain way. He wont listen. They get attacked. He escapes. He tells his commander everyone got killed and he barely escaped. Actually he ran. He thought his wife got killed but she didn't. He does a lot of other things like that. To make him look good. I will listen to this again later. I will also continue with this series. If you like this listen to Dry Gulch ambush. Its the third book in the Duff MacCallister Western series. It has a storyline that is similar to this.
