First Book - I have only read the first two books in the original series involving Jack Forge. This did not affect me at all with reading this new series with him. All it did was make me want to finish reading the first series.

It was fastpaced and very intelligently done. It kept me hooked, kept me wanting to find out what the hell was going on. And what had happened in the past? Read the 2nd in the series straight after.

Second Book - I did not expect this story to go in the direction it did. Loving it! Its not all winning, it not all losing. It is just pure surviving.

The Narrator has done an amazing job capturing each character and bringing them to life. Just adds so much more depths to the story and characters.

Third Book - There is a fourth book?! Excuse me... (disappears)

It kept me hooked, kept me wanting to find out...
