According to Grant Holiday, there are two kinds of people in the world: those who follow the rules and those who should stay the heck out of his forest.
He’s decided I’m the rule-breaking enemy, and that’s just fine with me. No matter how pretty his green eyes are, how handsome he is, or how often he finds me when I’m lost, he is definitely not my type.

A smart woman would lie low, try to follow the rules, and avoid Grant Holiday, but he just keeps showing up and pointing out every rule I’m breaking whether I’m rescuing an injured skunk or accepting a job at his brother’s bookstore.

He’s the last person I want to see every day, until… he isn’t.

Which is awkward, because I’ve got trust issues and he’s hung up on his ex. We’ll never work as a couple, so I should ignore my irrational attraction to the infuriating man.

Should be easy, right? Except he’s just made it clear the attraction goes both ways.

Virtual voice reader

The virtual voice is a little weird. It made it kind of hard to follow parts of the story. Overall the story was cute and I enjoyed it. Just wish an actual person had read it.

The Virtual Voice is not good. Some of the words just sound wrong. Makes it hard to focus.

good story but the AI narration is awful

the AI narration is absolutely terrible! connotations were off some of the pronunciations were off and there was absolutely no feeling or personality from the narration! it was especially terrible in the hot sex scenes to have a computer narrated! the only reason I finished listening to it is because the story was good. I may go back and read it from the book just so I can get a better feel for it. but the characters and the storyline were good and if another book comes out in this series I'll make sure it's not AI generated narration before I download it or I will just read it straight from the book.

Virtual voice, virtually horrible

Are you saving money by using a virtual voice not using an actual human being? There is no emotion in the voice, emphasized words and sentences all wrong. Did not bring life to the story at all.

Cute Story - AI narration - not so much

The story is super cute and would have been great if they had actual narrators. The AI voice does not give enough inflection or emotion.
