I heard that voice. Obeying the calling to do something completely out of my comfort zone, I waved goodbye to my husband and daughter and found myself in Eden, Jamaica, attempting my first mission trip. I didn’t know anyone, what to expect, or exactly what I would even be doing. When the unknown began to unfold, I realized that I may have bitten off a little more than I could chew. Challenged with some unexpected attacks of fear, regrets, and insecurities, my confidence took a downward spiral into a pit of self-doubt. Was I going to use my experiences in Eden to overcome and rise above these lies? Or would I allow myself to give in to defeat and become lost in Eden?

Lost in Eden is an honest and a somewhat humorous true story that brings to light the opposition you may face when stepping out in your faith.
