How dreadful the book was

Dreadful: predictable unrealistic plot. Terrible writing full of mundane dialogue and cliches. “The skeletons were found on their knees in front of the statue”

Worse narration ever! Story was fine.

I was really excited to listen to this book because I am an archaeologist who has travelled to Cambodia numerous times. The story seemed exciting. I was sadly very disappointed because the AI narration was so horrible I couldn’t keep the characters straight and couldn’t focus on the storyline. I will never order another book with AI narration.
