Weird changes to crazy when he explains the bizarre game he has planned - a game that will leave Robin dead and Uncle Conrad the sole heir to the Sherwood fortune. In order to escape his devious plan and its deadly consequences, the bayou may be Robin's only chance. It's a risky choice, but becoming alligator bait seems a lot less terrifying right now than what's waiting for her in the cellar.

Great listen!

I really enjoyed listening to this book, even though it was a little predictable, I felt like a teenager was telling me her story. People who like suspense will probably enjoy this book.

This is my first time to listening this author and I will be reading his other books.

Great book and narration

This was a really fascinating story that kept you intrigued and listening for more ! I loved the inflection in the narrator that was the main character telling the story.
