Cute Story

Ugh the male narrator was cringy with other character voices especially the female voices. I would love to listen to the next book in the series but I can't bring myself to listen I am opting to read it instead.

Actors who should NOT voice women’s parts

If you’re looking for a trope-y, formulaic romance that you can read with one eye open with the goal of silencing the voices in your head, this is your huckleberry.

The male narrator voicing the female characters was disappointing. In his care, they sounded insipid, bitchy and shrill.

No Connection

I wanted to like this story but it was kind of all over the place. It was more about the mothers than the couple which I guess is ok but there was so much jumping around you never got in deep so you could care about any of the characters. There wasn’t any feeling for me. Like no moments of emotion. I will say that I did smile during the dinner with the clam sauce. But other than that I had to convince myself to finish it.

Loved the story and the female narrator… but the male narrator was terrible when he tried to voice female characters. If that’s what he thinks women sound like, then I just don’t know what to say. Has he heard a woman’s voice?

Every female he read for sounded like they had a bad cold and were either slow or a spoiled boy child. It was weird as hell. Definitely one that left you wondering how it passed final approval.

Glamping in love

This was a cute romance. I really enjoyed listening to these momma’s antics in finding soulmates for their kids.
