Love Like Her

A really fun and unique read!

Eros and Olivia shared a night together but decided they would not be able to make a relationship work. However, they continued to cross paths and and now just might be the time they can finally make it work.

The story was interesting with a nice mix of emotion, humor, and sweet moments. Eros and Olivia had great chemistry and I loved the two of them together. I was curious to see how their friendship would evolve into a relationship after so long.

This can be read as a standalone, but I do recommend the other two books in the series as well.

Teddy Hamilton is one of my favorite narrators and he did a great job here. I also liked Kelsey Navarro, too. They were perfectly cast!

A Friendship Through the Years

I really enjoyed this audiobook of Eros and Olivia. I laughed a lot listening to this and I think the narrators were perfect bringing these characters to life. This was a lot like the movie, “When Harry Met Sally”. We go through this journey of this couple through the years. They meet in crazy circumstances, become best friends, but still don’t see that they belong to each other. There were frustrating moments, but I loved the fact that other characters from the previous audiobooks in the series were mentioned and had a part in this story.

When it's meant to be, it's meant to be - even when the fated couple takes a few years to realize it. Eros and Olivia have a pretty lengthy journey to their HEA, but when it's done Claudia Burgoa style, you know it's gonna be a blast every step of the way. Love Like Her delivers on everything I expect from this author - from the witty dialogue and fun banter to the terrific characters to the swoony romance - it's perfect for brightening up a rainy day or curling up on the couch to while away an evening. This book takes what could've been a series of hookups and turned this on again-off again thing into a relationship. I say relationship because these two are invested regardless of the circumstances. They see each other through some seriously tough times, and their timing for running into each other is nothing short of kismet. When I read this one, I didn't realize it was part of a series, so I didn't know as much about the lunatics that are the Brassard family. It feels like a whole different story after catching up and getting to know everyone from the beginning. It does still work as a standalone, but you're gonna want to know all of these characters.
The audiobook is voiced by some of my favorite narrators. Yes, there are six of them, but most kind of come and go. The bulk of the story is from Kelsey Navarro and Teddy Hamilton as Olivia and Eros, and they perform exactly as I expected. Whether it's laughter or tears, these two deliver on the emotion of the story. That said, I love how so many narrators were brought together for this series, and it's interesting to see how it all comes together.

Enjoyed

Eros and Liv had an incredible journey of friendship along the way. I do not want to give more details. I loved learning more about Eros and his siblings. They are interesting characters.

I had already read this when it was released but listening to the audio made it so much better. The narrators are are so good and really brought the characters to life.

Eros and Olivia took a while to get to where they needed to be and their journey had me crying, frustrated, aroused, happy, and sad all in one page at times. The story is angsty but takes you on the path they set out for themselves and the one fate keeps setting for them. I loved their chemistry and couldn't put this down.
