I experienced grief, not just in death, but in life. Insecurity, mistakes, fear, and rejection all added to the pain that I hid deep in my heart; a pain too embarrassing to share with anyone. I was heartbroken and didn’t think that this old heart could ever be mended. But God.

In one of the lowest seasons of my life, God gave me an indescribable grace to fight. We may never understand life, yet, that is when our trust in God should override all of our worldly questions. In my darkest hours, when the tears flowed silently down my cheeks, God was with me.

In this book, I share my heartrending journey from pain to purpose. It is my prayer that the words scribed on each page inspire you to keep pushing forward. Allow God to again fill the space in your heart that is empty and void. Be assured that the Lord can, and will, comfort you and know that even in death, Love Remains.

Truly transparent!

Bettye's story was easy to listen to because of her authenticity and transparency. It only took me 3 days and would've been shorter had I not had a busy weekend!!! I saw myself in so many parts of her story. She was able to reach me with her words. I love the tips that she gives on helping parents through loss. I also loved the biblical references used!!!
